Briefly, after graduation I went to UVIC for a year, because that was the usual next step on the road to success, or what I thought. Not really for me at the time, so after that I landed a permanent job with the BC Provincial government, Motor Vehicle Branch providing vehicle registration and driver license information to police forces in Canada and the States. After a rewarding 40 plus years serving the people of BC I have since ended my career as a Commercial Transport Inspector and peace officer with the Ministry of Transportation.
Throughout the last 50 odd years I have also held a commercial multi-engine IFR pilot license, worked as a flight instructor, and in air traffic control in Kamloops and Vancouver for a while.
in 1973 a very beautiful girl, she and you all know who she is, instilled in me a love of music (huh, me the science guy) that would comfort me and follow me throughout my life and I am forever grateful to her for that. I have never forgotten her, and I will always love her.
In the mid and late 70s I played my guitar and sang solo in various venues around town, and during the 1980s I spent time in a party band with a friend of mine playing numerous venues around the Island and enjoying every minute of it.
I have been married to a wonderful woman for the last 45 years and have two grown children. I am blessedly still alive and enjoy spending my time with my family, and my guitars of course, uploading songs to my YouTube channel for all to (hopefully) enjoy. ----- August 2025
